Construction of 18,000 m³ (€2,750,000 budget) Water Tank in Albarzakh region of Aden, Yemen
We are pleased to announce that Dome International has officially signed a contract with the Social Fund for Development (SFD) in Yemen for the construction of a new water tank in the Albarzakh region of Aden with a budget of €2,750,000.
The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Water and Environment in Aden, under the auspices of the Deputy Governor of Aden, Mr. Badr Mouan Saeed, and the Ministry of Water and Environment’s consultant, Engineer Najeeb Mohammed Ahmed. The Director General of the Water and Sanitation Corporation in Aden, Engineer Mohammed Bakhbira, was also present.
The new water tank, with a storage capacity of 18,000 cubic meters, will replace an older tank constructed between 1954 and 1956, which had reached the end of its service life. The project is expected to be completed within 17 months and will serve the districts of Khormaksar, Crater, Al-Mualla, and Tawahi.
Following the signing, the Deputy Governor, along with representatives from the Water Corporation, SFD, and our company, conducted a visit to the project site where emphasis was placed on adhering to the agreed specifications to ensure timely completion and sustainable quality.
This project is a key strategic initiative for the city of Aden, and we are committed to delivering it with the highest standards. We appreciate the excellent cooperation of the local authorities in facilitating this important development and look forward to sharing further updates as the project progresses.
