Health & Safety Policy

The health and safety of Dome International’s (Dome) employees is of paramount importance. Dome aims to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all our employees and to provide them with the necessary information, instruction and training to achieve this aim.

Dome promotes a Zero Accident philosophy within the work environment and appropriate preventive and protective measures are, and will continue to be, implemented following the identification of work related hazards and assessment of the risks associated with them.

Dome recognises the importance of employer/employee consultation on matters of health and safety and the value of individual consultation prior to allocating specific health and safety functions.

Dome also accepts responsibility for the health and safety of other persons who may be affected by our activities. Expert advice will be sought as necessary when determining health and safety risks and the measures required to guard against them.

The allocation of duties for safety matters, the identity of competent persons appointed with particular responsibilities, and the arrangements made to implement this policy are set out herein and/or in associated health and safety documents and records.

The objectives of this safety statement can only be achieved through the support and co-operation of employees and all other persons who use the premises eg contractors, visitors. Dome seeks to foster a culture in which everyone accepts responsibility and accountability for their own and each co-worker’s safety and health.
